Football Tournament for the Efterskole

Last weekend we ran a nation wide football (Soccer) tournament for the Adventist schools in Denmark. Efterskole is from grades 6-9. It was a great weekend, even though I was on duty. I was super busy and had some pretty late nights but it was fun to have other schools here, and the caf food definitely improved. That weekend was defintely designed with fun in mind, but also was a good opportunity for potenital students to see the school and have a taste of the Vejlefjord Experience. We had a Danish pastor come down from northern Jutland (The northern Part of the mainland of Denmark). He was an engaging speaker, and even 'married' two of our students as part of the sermon on Sabbath. So that was funny!

We had a little bit of snow leading up to the football weekend, so that was nice too :)

The incredible sunset on Friday afternoon. Most incredible way to bring in the sabbath. This photo is completely un-effected!
The delicious spread the kitchen ladies put out on friday night. SO good! And many gluten free options too!
The most beautiful tulips I have ever seen. I personally was not a fan of Tulips, but I think that after experiencing European Tulips like these, they are up there with my absolute favourites.
The beautiful sun rise I go up on sabbath morning.
Two of the teams battling it out!
Just a short snap shot of one of the games. This game was one of the medium skill level games, so fun to watch, but not too serious.

Vejlefjord came out on top of the competition over all though! We did FANTASTICALLY! We ended up taking out First, Second and Third place in the competition! So I am incredibly proud of our players, but especially proud of the girls who played!
